Birthed in sun-bleached Meanjin, Platonic Sex are a queer alt-rock band who don't sleep together, promise. 'Grip' is an exercise in catch and release, vulnerable lyrics and guitar-driven melodies which swell and crash with emotion.

The band’s first fully-fledged body of work, its six tracks are exercises in holding space for others and for themselves. Bridget, Ryan, Jane and Mikki invite their listeners into the world of Platonic Sex, where toughness and vulnerability nestle side-by-side, joy and anxiety intermingle, and where friends old and new are always welcome to stay the night.
